Here you can find a selection of my favourite restaurants in Riga around its beautiful Old Town.
The list includes five different options, each of them with a particular atmosphere, service and food selection that make them great choices for a unique dining experience.

From the Latvian expression “let’s sit”, at Pasedet you will find great food and drinks (great cocktails too!) at a fair price. All combined with a cosy and stylish atmosphere difficult to beat anywhere else in Riga.

I know, it’s not Latvian. But this Italian restaurant near the Old Town of Riga delivers some of the most delicious food in the city. Its big and flavourful portions delight locals and tourists alike.
Located in the heart of the trendy Quiet District, look for no other place if you happen to be in the area. You won’t regret it.

Located in a cool exhibition gallery, a few bunch of tables sitting in the rafters create an intimate cosy atmosphere for a great dining experience.
At Istaba (meaning simply “room” in Latvian) there is no set menu, only what the cook fancies depending on the day’s products, always in tune with the season. For those with an open mind when it comes to food experiences, Galerija Istaba is your place.

This modern cafe bar in the centre of Riga is a great place to have a drink or a meal while enjoying great views over the charming Ziedondarzs park.
In summer time they set up a terrace in front, which allows for an even better dining experience or to degustate any of their popular weekend brunches.

A great choice for a nice dining experience in the Old Town of Riga, the “Black Bee” is like an oasis in the middle of the crowd.
